While waiting for her daughter and grandchildren to arrive for a family visit, Barbara Synos of Oxford sat reading the morning newspaper at the kitchen table. Remembering that she had three “Quick Pick” tickets for the March 4 “Lucky for Life” drawing,. Synos flipped through the pages to locate the previous day’s winning Lottery numbers to check her tickets.

NEW ENGLAND LOTTERIES JOINTLY ISSUE A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
In March of 2012, for the first time in history, the six New England Lotteries joined together to offer their players a great new opportunity to win BIG! Now they want to join forces again…
Lucky for Life has proved to be so lucky for its players that the New England Lotteries are seeking ideas from interested parties for a second New England states lottery game!
The Connecticut Lottery Corporation, the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission, the Maine State Liquor and Lottery Commission, the Rhode Island Division of Lottery, the New Hampshire Lottery Commission and the Vermont Lottery Commission have issued on March 26, 2013 a request for information to help them prepare for the possible design, implementation and operation of a second lottery game for their joint administration. They want to know what is envisioned for the future!
Should they decide to pursue a new game through a subsequent competitive process, the New England Lotteries hope to have it available for players throughout New England by January 1, 2015.

Centerville woman wins $25,000 Lucky for Life prize
February 19, 2013Yufeng Shang of Centerville claimed a $25,000 prize for matching the first five numbers drawn in the February 14th “Lucky for Life” drawing.
She received the regional game’s second prize in a one-time lump sum payment which after taxes amounted to $17,500.
