Q: Which six states are participating in the Lucky for Life game?
A: Lucky for Life is the New England’s first regional game. The participating states are: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Q: How do I play?
A: The Lucky for Life game is a double matrix-style game in which players select five (5) unique numbers in the first matrix from one (1) to forty-three (43) inclusive PLUS one (1) Lucky Ball number in the second matrix from one (1) to forty-three (43) inclusive. The additional number may be the same as one of the first five numbers selected by the player.
Q: What is the cost to play?
A: The player receives one play for each $2 wagered. Players can place several $2 plays on each play slip by picking five (5) out of forty-three(43) numbers and one (1) out of forty-three (43) numbers in each of the panels on the bet slip. Players can select consecutive draws on the same bet slip.
Q: Is it an exact match of the (first matrix) plus the Lucky Ball (second matrix) or can it be any order?
A: Any order in the first matrix numbers 1 through 43 (white balls) plus the Lucky Ball (green ball) number from the second matrix numbers 1 through 43. The tickets print the white ball numbers (the first five numbers) in numerical order. You can match the first five white ball numbers drawn in any order. The Lucky Ball number on your ticket must match the Lucky Ball number drawn.
Q: Can a player purchase a ticket in one participating state and cash it in another participating state?
A: Winning tickets must be redeemed in the state in which they were purchased. You do not have to cash the ticket at the same Sales Retailer as you purchased the ticket, but you do have to cash the ticket in the same state.
Q: What are the prizes?
A: The top prize is up to $7,000 a WEEK FOR LIFE.* If you do not win the top prize, there is another chance to win a recurring prize. Matching all 5 white balls wins you $25,000 a YEAR FOR LIFE!* There are eight other ways to win prizes from $2 up to $3,000* on every ticket. Paid weekly, Lucky for Life's top prize is guaranteed to be paid to winners for a minimum of 20 years. Paid yearly, Lucky for Life's 2nd level prize is guaranteed to be paid to winners for a minimum of 20 years.

Q: When does Lucky for Life begin?
A: Sales for the Lucky for Life game begin on March 11, 2012. The first drawing shall be on March 15, 2012. Drawings are every Monday and Thursday at approximately 10:38 p.m.
Q: Are season tickets/subscription tickets available for Lucky for Life?
A: At this time season tickets/subscriptions for Lucky for Life are not available in all participating states; however plans are to offer a season ticket/subscriptions for this game in the future. The season ticket/subscriptions shall be effective on a future date as prescribed by the governing laws, policies and rules of the particular lottery offering the season ticket/subscription option.
Q: What happens if there is more than one top prize winner?
A: Lucky for Life game is a set and split prize payout game. If there is one top prize winner, the annuitized prize value will be $7,000 per week for life*, paid weekly less appropriate taxes and withholdings. If there is more than one top prize winner, the annuitized prize value will be split equally among the winners. Split prizes may be lower than the published prize amounts. Set prize shall mean a pre-determined prize payout which is paid in a single lump sum cash payout. Set prizes shall apply to the 4th tier and lower prize levels.

A: The overall odds of winning a prize are approximately 1: 8.607.
Q: Is there a Quick Pick for selecting numbers?
A: Players may select their own numbers by completing a Lucky for Life bet slip or by verbally conveying their number selections directly to any licensed Sales Retailer or by verbally requesting a Quic Pick/Easy Pick Lucky for Life ticket from a licensed Sales Retailer. Also if certain states have the provision, marking the bet slip for a Quick Pick using the “QP” box is another option.
Q: Can a Lucky for Life ticket be cancelled?
A: A Lucky for Life ticket may not be cancelled or voided.
Q: How long does a winner have to claim a prize?
A: The prize claim period shall be determined by each individual state. Ticket expiration periods vary from state to state - from 180 days to one year.
